Nikolaus says; “The Battery Management System (BMS) has a number of tasks, including ensuring that the battery cells have the same charge level at all times. If this is not the case, it could indicate that the range will be reduced or there may be a problem with the control unit or the battery. If one cell ages faster than the others, at some point the differences can no longer be compensated for by the BMS.”
